Steven Deam Jr., CFO and IT manager for CNC Industries, says a larger push on pricing from aerospace customers has presented new challenges to its machine shop. With a greater number of shops that have the capabilities to machine complex parts and aerospace companies cutting batch sizes as they transition to JIT production, CNC Industries has been challenged with making fundamental changes to reduce production costs as well as focus on evolving their processes and equipment to remain competitive.
