This 12- to 24-Vdc DIN rail-mountable converter is designed for extreme conditions. The XTR dc/dc converter has conformal coating, which provides increased effectiveness against harsh environments. It also can be used in a range of temperatures from -40 to 70 °C. Other features include reverse polarity and short-circuit protection to prevent problems with miswiring and 95% efficiency at full load, reducing energy loss and providing full ampacity without derating. These converters are useful in environments that require extreme testing procedures and can provide up to 3 A.
