Cemtrex has announced its chairman and CEO, Saagar Govil, was recently selected by Business Insider as No. 17 on its Top 100 of Silicon Alley. The list represents Business Insider's annual selection of "people who matter most" in the NYC tech business community.
According to Business Insider, it "looked at who has done cool, inspiring and amazing things in the past year, including companies that have been acquired or gone public, promising new startups, top VCs and anything shaking up the industry. We ranked our list based on who has done the coolest stuff this year. Getting acquired or going public — that's cool. Founding a neat startup or building impressive hardware is cool too."
"I am truly honored to be named to Business Insider's Top 100 list and be associated with so many talented individuals," said Govil. "Cemtrex has accomplished a lot in the last few years and I think this recognition is a testament of our recent success. It is totally a team effort here at our company and our growth is direct result of the hard work of our dedicated employees. I want to assure our shareholders that Cemtrex's future holds many bold and exciting things and the best is still yet to come."
