Clippard Receives Appreciation Award From FIRST Organization

A $100,000 donation in products and other benefits given to the Kit of Parts, which is used by all groups participating in the FIRST Robotics Challenge (FRC), will go toward helping influence the next generation of engineers.

FRC Golden Sponsor Clippard Instrument Laboratory, a manufacturer of miniature pneumatic valves, cylinders and fittings, received an appreciation award from the FIRST organization for its contributions to the Kit of Parts.

Dean Kamen, founder of the FIRST organization, presented the award to William Clippard, III, President of Clippard, who accepted the certificate of excellence on behalf of the company.
