The event includes more than 45 technical sessions, hands-on labs and demonstration workshops, as well as in-depth forums focused on automotive, energy, food and beverage, metals and mining, oil and gas, and water wastewater industries, and global machine builders, all of which are complimentary. The demonstration labs are offered each day of the Automation Fair, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis; the hands-on labs require advance registration. All attendees can earn Professional Development Hour (PDH) credits for all technical sessions, labs, workshops and forums attended.
Immediately preceding the Automation Fair, the Safety Automation Forum has been extended to one-and-a-half days this year. The forum showcases some of Rockwell's elite customers, who will share best practices and demonstrate successful safety programs. Day one includes technical sessions, networking, and an evening event at Shedd Aquarium; and day two continues with general presentations and breakout sessions.
Educational sessions focus on improving knowledge of safety techniques, technologies, standards and applications. Safety presenters will include executives from L'Oreal, PepsiCo and Malt-O-Meal, in addition to members of Rockwell Automation's team and other safety experts.
