PMD partners with DigiKey on distribution of industrial controllers, modules and boards
Performance Motion Devices (PMD) has signed an agreement with electronics distributor DigiKey, marking an expansion of PMD’s distribution network. Through this agreement, DigiKey now supplies PMD’s Magellan, Juno, ION, Atlas and Prodigy families of motion control products and developer kits to users developing robotics and industrial-automation applications using motion-control technology.
DigiKey carries more than 15 million components from over 2,900 manufacturers. DigiKey will serve PMD’s customers worldwide.
“Many of our customers already use DigiKey as a preferred point of sale for a variety of components in their designs,” said PMD VP of sales and marketing Carlos Bielicki. “We believe DigiKey’s reputation for easy online ordering, in-stock availability and fast delivery align with our commitment to outstanding service, and we’re confident this new partnership will give PMD customers even greater flexibility and convenience.”
Missy Hall, VP of new market development at DigiKey, said: “Adding PMD to the DigiKey line card strengthens our commitment to offering engineers a broad spectrum of high-quality motion control electronics. This collaboration enables us to support a wide range of OEMs and engineering teams looking for world-class solutions, and we look forward to adding even more new products from PMD to our inventory in the future.”
