Packaging partners focus on Texas expansion

Pallet and packaging machine manufacturer Millwood partners with Pasadena Skid & Pallet to operate from the Pasadena, Texas, location.

Millwood has partnered with Pasadena Skid & Pallet in Pasadena, Texas, allowing Millwood to operate from their location as a Millwood, Inc. company. The marks the 40th Millwood location nationwide and third in Texas. It will also allow Millwood and Pasadena Skid & Pallet to expand its customer base in this region of Texas.

Rob Trexler, Pasadena Skid & Pallet president and former National Wooden Pallet & Container Association board member, founded the company in 1983. Trexler will stay onboard as part of the transition until his planned retirement on Sept. 30. Randy Dunkerson and Brian Forrister, acting principals of Pasadena Skid & Pallet, will also stay on as stockholders.

Pasadena Skid & Pallet is a manufacturer and wholesaler of new and specialty pallets, packaging and material handling products. Pasadena Skid & Pallet specializes in tailored solutions, utilizing advanced computer-aided design software to meet each customer's precise load requirements. Pasadena Skid & Pallet currently employs nearly 100 team members and serves a diverse range of industries including chemical, consumer products, automotive, general industrial, repackaging, oil field and rubber.

“Pasadena Skid & Pallet is a well-known company and brand in this region of Texas,” Chip Trebilcock, Millwood co-president/partner said. “They will retain their name separate from the Millwood brand.”
