Oliver Skisland becomes CEO of frameless-motor manufacturer

Alva Industries, global manufacturer of frameless motors with its headquarters in Trondheim, Norway, has appointed Oliver Skisland as its new CEO. With experience leading and scaling technology companies, Skisland brings expertise from both high-growth startups and established enterprises. Alva’s patented FiberPrinting manufacturing technology enables it to produce motors in almost any shape or size.

“I’m incredibly excited to lead Alva Industries at such a crucial moment in the electrification revolution,” said Oliver. “Alva’s technology has the potential to redefine what’s possible in electric motor applications, and I’m committed to turning that potential into real-world impact. Together with the team, we will push the boundaries of innovation, scale our solutions, and make Alva a key player in the electrified future.”

Skisland will lead Alva’s innovation efforts in lightweight, high-efficiency electric motor technology while enhancing manufacturing and supply-chain capabilities to meet the rapidly growing demand. Investing in top talent and fostering a high-performance culture will remain a focus to Alva.

The company also expresses sincere gratitude to Jørgen Selnes, Alva’s founder, for his vision and leadership that have brought the company to its current position. After carefully selecting and bringing Oliver on board as CEO, Jørgen will take the role as chief strategy officer, where he can dedicate himself to what he has always been passionate about—unlocking new market opportunities, forging key partnerships and driving long-term global success.

As Alva enters this next chapter of scalability and growth, the company will continue to use its patented FiberPrinting technology.
