Bob Burkhardt explains the mechanical and electrical modularity of the topload packaging platform built around Beckhoff technology

Bob Burkhardt, product manager, cartoning & robotics, at R.A Jones gives a walkaround tour of the Celestion MTX, a topload packaging platform from R.A Jones, at Pack Expo 2024. The Celestion MTX aligns robotics, carton and tray forming, loading and closing. R.A Jones is a Coesia company.

Built around Beckhoff controls, the machine is flexible and adaptable. Its mechanical and electrical modularity makes the Celestion MTX into building blocks for customers' production lines. The overhead enclosures are plug-and-play, and the Beckhoff XTS transport is the heart of the machine.
