Pepperl+Fuchs’ Tab-Ex 05 tablet is rated for rugged, hazardous areas. The tablet is built on Samsung’s Galaxy Tab Active5 and is designed to ensure high data and device security through Samsung Knox. The Tab-Ex 05 features a slim, lightweight design for hazardous areas including ATEX/IECEX zones 1/21 and 2/22 and US/Canadian NEC Class I,II, Div. 1 and Class I, II, Div. 2.It has Android Enterprise Recommended and Common Criteria certification for global use. The operating system includes updates up to Android 22 and security updates up to 2032. The device has 6 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM, which can be expanded via micro-SD to up to 1 TB. The tablet is also equipped with a 13 MP back camera and a 5 MP front camera. It is designed to work with gloves and the S Pen, including in wet conditions. The tablet has IP68 certification. With the Samsung Wireless DeX Mode, the tablet can transform into a complete desktop experience.
