Balluff’s IO-Link Wireless portfolio includes a gateway or master that communicates to fieldbus networks such as Profinet and EtherNet/IP while at device level connecting to up to 40 IO-Link devices for wireless communication; an I/O hub that connects to up to eight discrete inputs or outputs and communicates the data with the gateway module over IO-Link wireless communication protocol; and a bridge module that connects to an IO-Link smart device to provide wireless communication with the gateway module.
