The WLAN 1121 and WLAN 1021 from Phoenix Contact offer the latest Wi-Fi 6 technology (IEEE 802.11ax) for high performance, security and reliability. With its modern industrial Wi-Fi 6 board, the WLAN 1000 series has up to ten times more data throughput than the previous modules in the WLAN 1000 product family, which are based on WI-Fi 4 (IEEE 802.11n). The Wi-Fi 6 devices provide data rates up to 2,402 Mbps gross (160 MHz channel). The new version retains the WLAN family’s compact housing without sacrificing performance. The new client modules are ideal for creating larger networks with many devices, such as automated guided vehicles (AGV) or shuttle systems.
