SmartLink from Softing is a software multiplexer that connects your HART field devices continuously to AMS Device Manager, even through third-party I/O. When configuring or troubleshooting HART field devices, smartlink is designed to alleviate spending time walking or driving into the field to directly connect AMS Device Manager from Emerson to HART field devices when the HART field devices are connected to third-party I/O. SmartLink is designed to configure and troubleshoot field devices remotely with AMS Device Manager and allow you to see alerts when they happen and transition to condition-based maintenance instead of time-based maintenance.
