The Emparro67 hybrid switch mode power supply allows users to relocate the power supply from the control cabinet to the field and also monitor currents using two integrated 24-Vdc load circuit monitoring channels. An IO-Link interface permits extensive and transparent communication. The fully encapsulated IP67-rated power supply has a robust metal housing and a 93.8% efficiency rating. It allows voltage conversion (from 230 Vac to 24 Vdc) to take place directly at the load, keeping power loss to a minimum. This power supply relocation allows smaller cabinets to be used, and, in some applications, it may be possible to get rid of a cabinet all together.
