The Klippon Connect measuring transformer terminals of the TTB series enable simple and safe wiring, even within complex circuits. They feature a disconnect lever mechanism—"close-before-open" contact for as many as four connections, increasing system availability, extending the life cycle of the entire switchgear and carrying IEC 60947-7-1 Annex D approval. They have been developed especially for use in secondary circuits of measuring transformers. For safe application when disconnecting or isolating protection and measuring devices, the terminal short-circuits the current transformer and thus prevents high voltages from occurring in the secondary winding.
