Bihl+Wiedemann introduced its new self-configuring I/O modules product family. The I/O modules are available with four, eight and 16 digital signals, which can be used bidirectionally as inputs or outputs, allowing for the implementation of many different applications with the same module.
The I/O modules feature sensors and actuators that can be connected in any combination with the possibility of two signals per M12 port; an optional assignment of a fixed configuration of inputs and outputs is possible via Bihl+Wiedemann software; 16 inputs/outputs with ASi-5 in 1.27 ms; and various connection types.
