The RevPi Connect from Kunbus is an IIoT gateway for machine and plant engineering. Within a DIN rail housing, the gateway is equipped with two RJ45 Ethernet sockets, two USB ports, a four-pin RS-485 interface, a micro-HDMI and a micro-USB socket. The two Ethernet interfaces support simultaneous integration in both the automation and IT networks, allowing machine data from the shop floor, for example, to be transferred directly to the cloud or a higher-level ERP system.
