These magnetic discs for use with absolute rotary magnetic encoders deliver high precision in a small form factor, allowing for use in tight spaces. They offer noncontact and wear-free measuring. A portfolio of standardized flat and hub-shaped discs is available to match a variety of configurations. Inside diameters range from 3 to 70 mm. Mechanical modifications can be created to meet specific application requirements. They can be used with a complete system with sensor and electronics or integrated into a company’s electronics with the IC-MU encoder chip.
