The Broadcom-enabled technologies Sterling-LWB and Serial-to-WiFi API are a wireless module and development tool that helps companies to design and certify wirelessly connected products. Using Broadcom's silicon technology and Wiced software platform, these two technologies enable engineers to add Wi-Fi connectivity to products being designed with smart capabilities. The Sterling-LWB uses Broadcom's BCM4343W chipset for Linux-based applications. The Serial-to-WiFi API is designed for IoT applications using the company’s TiWi-C-W Wi-Fi module with integrated TCP/IP stack, powered by Broadcom's BCM4390 chipset.
