The ECPM motor now is available in 900-rpm versions of the 1.5-, 2-, 3- and 5-hp models. The new models provide a full load motor-only efficiency rating of 92% to 94%. These motors maintain high efficiency under partial load, making them suitable for variable-speed fan applications. The motors use an all-ferrite magnet design and are packaged in standard NEMA frame sizes and mounting dimensions. They are compatible with VFDs from most manufacturers, including ABB, Yaskawa, Mitsubishi, Siemens, Fuji, Hitachi, Toshiba, Delta, Danfoss, Schneider and Vacon.
