SLS line of ball screw and linear motor-driven sealed motion stages feature a lip seal design that prevents contaminants from entering the internal drive and bearing components. Linear motor configurations can reach accuracies of ±4 µm/m of travel and bi-directional repeatability of ±2 µm, and provide continuous linear force to 300 N. Ball screw units can reach accuracies of ±10 µm/m of travel and bi-directional repeatability of ±5 µm, and provide continuous linear force to 1,540 N. Standard travel lengths ranges from 100 to 1,000 mm, and custom lengths are available to 2,000 mm.
