SeaRAQ model 8520 and model 8521 I/O expansion boards for Relio R3 rack-mount industrial computers are isolated to prevent damage from harmful surges and ground loops. The 8520 has 16 relay outputs divided into four banks, with each bank sharing a common. The 8521 provides eight relay outputs with discrete commons. Field wiring connects using 20-position, removable, high-retention terminal blocks compatible with 16-30 AWG wire. Both boards are powered from the computer’s backplane connection, and provide 1,500-Vac field-to-logic isolation.
