Anybus-IC for Profinet IO module, certified by the Profibus user organization, has a microprocessor with integrated fast Ethernet controller and a full-featured Profinet IO device software stack to reduce development time of a Profinet IO interface by up to 70%. Space and power supply requirements are minimized so that small automation devices such can be equipped with a Profinet IO interface.
