49% of Survey Respondents Indicated Screw Clamp as Their Most Preferred Technique

An electronic survey of Control Design readers was conducted in June 2013 in order to identify usage and application trends of I/O and terminal blocks among the industrial machine builders that comprise Control Design's readership.

Respondents preferred physical cable connection technique was screw clamps (49%), followed by spring clamps (33%), M8/M12 terminal (13%), and insulation displacement (4%).
