Companies Expand Measurement Products and Services in Oil and Gas, Electric Power and Other Industrial Sectors
ABB now has the capability to expand its measurement products and services in oil and gas, electric power and other industrial sectors with the recent acquisition of analyzer service provider Los Gatos Research (LGR).
The 40-person, 19-year-old company provides real-time measurement of trace gases and isotopes for research and environmental monitoring, and will compliment ABB's Process Automation Division's existing technology portfolio with new solutions for customers.
The acquisition benefits customers in oil & gas production and transportation, combustion, emissions, power generation and environmental monitoring. The acquisition also allows LGR to expand its business to environmental, scientific and industrial markets.
