The EMCA compact positioning drive operates within most communication architectures, including EtherNet/IP. It integrates a maintenance-free and wear-resistant brushless dc motor with power and control electronics. The drive system avoids long motor cables and improves electromagnetic compatibility. Built-in monitoring functions ensure safety and reliability. The optional absolute encoder is designed for faster start-up after power loss because there is no need to home the electromechanical system. Available in two motor lengths and power classes, it can deliver peak torque of 0.91 Nm, has a maximum rotational speed of 3,500 rpm and can reach peak power output of up to 200 W.
