KEB America, Inc.’s F6 VFD and S6 Servo Drive are now PROFIsafe certified. The PROFIsafe certification by TÜV Rheinland ensures KEB drives deliver functional safety over the bus to industrial machinery requiring PROFINET communication.
The F6 VFD and S6 Servo Drive come standard with SIL3 safe torque off (STO) and safe brake control (SBC). Extra safety functionality such as Failsafe over EtherCAT (FSoE), SS1, SS2, SOS, SLS, SLP, SLI, SDI, and SSM is available.
KEB’s COMBIVIS 6 commissioning and diagnostic software supports the F6 and S6 drive controllers. These drives operate induction and AC permanent magnet servo motors with speeds as fast as 45,000 rpm. They feature flexible heatsinks, a dual-channel encoder card, power ranges from 0.75 kW to 450 kW, and internal positioning capability for motion control applications.
