The Imac Ethernet motion server offers Internet-accessible distributed motion control technology for automation applications. It uses TCP/IP over Internet to control as many as 128 servo or stepper idrives. The open architecture allows integration with digital I/O, vision systems and additional equipment such as HMIs all controlled from a single master over Internet. Systems may be used with a standalone program or, alternatively, commands can be sent from an external computer from any application such as Visual Basic, C, C++, C#, JavaScript and LabView. The architecture is infinitely scaleable using multiple motion servers.
