The Allen-Bradley M100 electronic motor starter from Rockwell Automation is designed to meet the demands of industrial operations. It is designed to offer reliability, safety and efficiency for critical applications. Point-on-wave (POW) switching technology is designed to optimize the switching action at the most favorable point in the voltage waveform, which reduces electrical stress on components, minimizes inrush currents and decreases electromagnetic interference. The M100 is equipped with overload protection, phase loss detection, phase imbalance monitoring and weld detection. These features are designed to provide a safety net for motors, preventing damage during operation. The M100 offers SIL3 certified models to ensure compliance with safety standards. It features zero stacking with no derating up to 55 °C. It includes removable terminal blocks, available in screw and push-in variants. The product also supports direct-on-line (DOL), reversing and safety capabilities within the same form factor.
