KEB America Servo drives and VFDs with open-loop functional safety

The S6 servo drive and F6 VFD product lines have been updated with open-loop functional safety. Included functional safety functions are safe limited speed (SLS), safely limited acceleration (SLA), safe stop 1 (SS1), safe door lock control (SDLC), safe speed monitor (SSM) and safe maximum speed (SMS). The encoderless safety functions can replace the safety encoder in some applications, including machine tools, spindle drives and saw blades.
