Measurement, Control & Automation Association announce new board members and officers

Peter Martin from Schneider Electric will serve as chairman and Bharat Naik from Reotemp Instruments will be vice chairman.

The Measurement, Control & Automation Association (MCAA) have announced that in 2017, Peter Martin, vice president strategic ventures for Schneider Electric Systems USA, Inc. will serve as MCAA chairman and Bharat Naik, president of Reotemp Instruments will be vice chairman.  

Elections were completed by letter ballot of the membership in November, 2016, with MCAA president Teresa Sebring recently certifying the election of officers and directors. 

Martin has worked in industrial automation for more than three decades with experience in the industry segments of training, engineering, product planning, marketing and strategic planning. He is the author of numerous books and articles as well as a fellow of the International Society of Automation and a member of the Process Automation Hall of Fame.

Naik has spent more than twenty years in the chemical industry in a variety of technical, commercial and management roles. 

MCAA provides resources to process control suppliers with its purpose being to bring process control providers together to develop the resources they need to prosper.
