The IDEC SA2E miniature photoelectric sensor family is designed to boost the performance/price ratio with a standardized ASIC design delivering rapid responses and better detection of small and fast-moving targets. Five variations—through-beam, polarized retro-reflective, diffused-reflective, background suppression, and small beam reflective—support a range of applications for OEM machinery, material handling equipment, freight elevators, automated guided vehicles, robotics, pick-and-place systems and packaging machines. These compact and durable sensors are rated for use in challenging environments and are offered in a number of configurations to provide adjustable detection ranging from 10 mm to 1,000 mm, depending on model.
